Waste Water Testing & Treatment

Due to Qualicoat's pretreatment process, we generate wastewater that requires treatment. In accordance with the County Sewer Use/Discharge, we regularly test our water quality to ensure it is well below the required limits for heavy metals and acidity. 

Routine monitoring and sampling are conducted as required by the sewer use permit and the results are reviewed to confirm that the discharge concentrations remain within the applicable permit limits.

Per our sewer permit, Qualicoat monitors and treats for the following contaminants:

1. pH

2. Cyanide

3. Cadmium

4. Chromium

7. Nickel

8. Silver

9. Zinc

Qualicoat testing results are routinely well below the sewer discharge limits for the above listed contaminants, often times, these contaminants are undetectable by the laboratory testing procedures.
