Industrial Painter
• Select appropriate paint or mix paints according to a pre-determined formula on the on job
traveler.
• Adjust and operate hand-held spray gun and pot to spray paint or coat stationary items in paint or spray booth to obtain desired quality, thickness, gloss and texture.
• Paint small items or large items and apply touch ups using paint brushes when necessary.
• Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective
equipment. Performs routine maintenance on the paint booth and paint gun.
• Exercises the safe handling of coating products using safety equipment procedures as instructed.
• Reports any needed repairs, safety hazards or suggested improvements in accordance with
Qualicoat's policies and procedures. Sets aside questionable parts for review.
• Maintains complete and accurate records of tasks performed in accordance with Job Travelers
and VISTA time card entry requirements.
• Maintains the inventory of supplies and equipment needed as directed by supervision.
• Provides input to Engineering and Quality for suggested improvements to processes, procedures and policies.
• Must be able to read blue prints for coating and masking purposes as required.
• Able to inspect work and maintain quality standard according to Job Traveler.
• Able to independently or under guidance of Lead person or Plant Manager to produce quality
product efficiently and quickly.
• May be asked to participate as a member of the Safety Committee.
• May be asked in occasion to assist in other departments as needed.
• Reviews job traveler to determine materials needed for job. Reviews blueprints to determine if
proper masking is complete and make as appropriate.

Estimator
Collect and analyze all project costs, including raw material, labor, equipment, and tooling to ensure
estimates are accurate. Utilize quotes, technical data, customer specifications, customer Purchase
Order, technical knowledge, past and current job travelers including experience in creating
manufacturing processes for current and upcoming quotes.
OBJECTIVES:
The main objective of the Estimating Engineer is to determine labor rates and material costs in order
to fulfill customer quote requests. Develop processes for quotes that meet customer specifications at
a profit to Qualicoat.
